Mind Game
International Cinema is back! Last night, Professor Andersen began this semester’s series with Mind Game, an animated film by the Japanese director Masaaki Yuasa. After a scrape with death, Nishi (our hero) returns from "heaven” determined to live every moment of his life to the fullest. This leads him on a bizarre adventure so beautifully animated that I thiiiink you must must must see it for yourself.

This is a bold statement, but I'm going to go ahead and say that Mind Game was my favorite International Cinema film so far, and is at least in my top five favorite movies ever. Ever. AND, if you live in the St. Pete area, you should probably hustle on over to Eckerd's own Dan and Mary Miller Auditorium on Friday's at 7:00 so you can see these films too. It's free and open to everyone in the entire world. If you go to http://www.eckerd.edu/film/international.php?f=home2, you can read more about what films Prof. Andersen will be playing this semester... okay great.
